I bought this 1999 Yamaha YFR R1 after owning a 800cc Kawasaki custom thing. This is much more me. Not long after I moved from Manchester to Ashby de la Zouch in Leicestershire for work. Then I discovered track days. I am pretty blessed with great race tracks within a hours drive of home. Donington Park, Mallory Park, Oulton Pak, Silverstone and Cadwell park.
I got made redundant so money for track days dried up. The Yam was mothballed until recently. This blog is about bring it back to life
